ABOUT MANUEL TORRES
Five-time Olympic equestrian jumper from Cartagena, Colombia, and living in the USA since 1999, currently based in Raleigh, North Carolina.
As an accomplished rider, Manuel has many achievements including winning multiple national championships in Colombia, gold medals as individual and team in the Bolivarian and Central American Games, fourth place individual Pan-American Games, a finalist in The Olympic Games in Soul, Atlanta, and Sydney, and has won more than 25 Grand Prix in the AGA Tour, making him one of the most notable figures in the equestrian sport.
As a coach, Manuel has turned riders into champions, from national to Olympic level. He has trained teams in the Children’s, Junior, and Adult Categories from different nations to compete in regional and international events for many years with outstanding results. He has trained amateur and professional riders up to the Grand Prix level.
With his passion for the sport, witty personality, and hard work, he conveys his knowledge by providing training for national and international horse-rider combinations, unlocking their potential to achieve their goals.
